KSG Agro agroholding increased the number of jobs by 30%
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine, the farms that are part of the agricultural holding KSG Agro have increased their headcount by 30%.
"From the very beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, we said that we see our front as a labor one, because the scope of our activity determines the food security of the state," comments Sergiy Kasianov, Chairman of the Board of Directors at KSG Agro. - Our chosen strategy helped us not to lose in production volumes, just the opposite, to significantly increase the number of pigs by 20% since the beginning of the year. We are developing both traditional and new directions for us, for example, the production of marble pork in industrial volumes. Therefore, we did everything possible to preserve the core of our team and even increased the staff by 30%. By the way, also thanks to contribution from temporarily displaced persons, who were provided not only with work, but also with free housing. The enterprises and farms of the holding employ more than 30 migrants. In these difficult times, we motivate people primarily by income growth: our average salary has increased by 30%."
Employees of the agricultural holding farms, both in the crop and livestock segments, are provided with free full-fledged lunches. And for security reasons, the company's personnel are delivered to and from work by car at the holding’s expense.
An important factor in the growth of the number of personnel was the increase in the share of KSG Agro products, such as pork in the market of the Dnipropetrovsk region: from 50% to 80%. Thus, KSG Agro has strengthened its status as a strategically important enterprise in the region.
