KSG Agro continues to ensure Ukraine’s food security in the face of Russian aggression
KSG Agro Pig Complex, the feed mill, the meat processing plant, other holding companies continue to
KSG Agro pig farm continues to operate today, despite the attack of Russian troops on Ukraine, and thus
ensures food security of the country. KSG Agro is currently fulfilling the orders of the largest retail chains
Silpo, Varus and other consumers. Consumer demand has increased significantly, but the company ships the
ordered volumes to the maximum of its capacity. The feed mill, the meat-packing plant, and other holding
companies continue to operate. Employees of the pig farm and other enterprises have gone to work and are
working conscientiously. The security of both the pig farm and all, without exception, holding’s assets has
been strengthened.
“Today, Russian troops, ignoring international law and common sense, have committed an act of aggression
against Ukraine, encroaching on its territorial integrity, the lives of tens of millions of Ukrainian citizens. We,
the farmers, are well aware that the security of the country also depends on us, with food security.
Therefore, today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, we will work to provide our people with food. We
have enough reserves for this, both human, productionwise, and raw materials. We are grateful both to our
military, who are defending the country from the aggressor at the borders, and to our employees, who did
not panic today, but as true patriots work to ensure Ukraine’s food security. ”
“I urge everyone to remain calm and concentrated and do everything in their fields, everything possible for
the defense of Ukraine, ensuring the security of its citizens. This is how our soldiers and our agricultural
workers do it, and we pay great respect to them for that,” Sergiy Kasianov summed up.
We will remind that KSG Agro provides pork of own production for 50% of the market of the
Dnepropetrovsk area, besides ships pork to other regions of the country.
Yesterday, the majority owner of the company Sergiy Kasianov made a statement in which he said that the
agricultural holding will operate in the face of threats from Russia and the difficult geopolitical situation.
Moreover, Sergiy Kasyanov stressed that KSG Agro is stepping up investments in increasing production capacity.
