KSG Agro donated more than 10 tons of pork for the needs of the Armed Forces and medical institutions of Dnipropetrovsk region. This news came from the press service of the agricultural holding.
KSG Agro agroholding transferred more than 10 tons of pork produced at the pig farm in the village Niva Trudova (Apostolovsky district, Dnipropetrovsk region) for the needs of the Armed Forces and medical institutions of Dnipropetrovsk region.
Starting from February 24, the first day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Strong-Trade, a member of KSG Agro, has been working in an intensified mode. Due to the fact that the location of the pig farm and processing facilities of the holding is not in the combat zone, the company continues to process meat, sending it to the army and to trade networks.
“I would like to sincerely thank our key employees, they continue to work even when the sirens are blowing. Our grandfathers, who fought during the Second World War, used to say, everything is for the front, everything for the victory. And we have such a situation. I would never have thought that we would repeat this in the 21st century, ”said Ihor Nedybalyuk, the company’s executive director.
Since the start of the war, Strong Trade has processed about 100,000 kilograms of meat. At present, 10,000 kilograms of pork have been sent to the needs of the Armed Forces and to hospitals. “Agroholding is ready to supply pork to the military and hospitals in the amount of 5 tons per week, contributing to the defense of Ukraine,” – said the chairman of the Board of Directors at KSG Agro Sergiy Kasianov.
Agroholding also continues the practice of providing food kits to socially vulnerable groups, as well as families of defenders of Ukraine who are fighting at the front. The Sergiy Kasyanov Charitable Foundation “Future” has already distributed about 400 food kits at the location of the pig farm, each including 3 kilograms of pork. First of all, the products were received by families of defenders of Ukraine, large families, and retirees. Nikita Kasianov, a member of the Dnepropetrovsk regional council, coordinates this direction.
KSG Agro sent a letter to the Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council Mykola Lukashuk, announcing readiness to regularly supply pork for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
