KSG Agro has developed a project to build a new plant for sorting and processing the aftermath of the destruction in the Kherson region. This was reported by the company's press service.
KSG Agro has developed a project to build a new plant for sorting, processing, and utilizing the consequences of the destruction caused by missile attacks in the Kherson region. The planned project implementation period is 2.5 years, and the total construction budget is $8 million.
"The project will be implemented in two stages. The first is a sorting line, which is needed because different materials will be processed - brick, concrete, metal, etc. At the first stage, the final product will be crushed stone, which can then be used in construction. At the second stage, the pressing method will produce pressed blocks, for example, such as aerated concrete mills for construction, or tiles that can be used in the reconstruction of destroyed facilities. Such a plant is very much needed in the region to free the Kherson lands from the debris caused by the destruction from enemy air attacks," says Sergiy Kasianov, Chairman of the Board of Directors at KSG Agro.
The project's budget, which totals USD 8 million, will include the following main funding items
- a workshop with a technological line for preparing waste for recycling - USD 1.8 million
- a workshop for the production of finished products - gray paving slabs (8 cm), colored paving slabs (8 cm) and pressed blocks (40×20×20) - $5.5 million.
Negotiations with international investors have now been initiated to involve them in the project.
