KSG Agro increased its revenue by 23% in the first half of 2023
In the first half of 2023, KSG Agro increased its revenue by 23% compared to the same period last year. This is stated in the company's report published on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
In the first half of 2023, KSG Agro increased its revenue by 23% compared to the same period last year: from USD 6.2 million to USD 7.4 million. In addition, over the same period, profit increased from USD 0.86 million in the first half of 2022 to USD 1.04 million in January-June 2023.
"Revenue in 2023 was comparatively higher due to lower sales in the first quarter of 2022, which were heavily impacted by the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. As in the previous year, in 2023 the holding used more of its own grain for feed production instead of purchasing it (to reduce dependence on external suppliers of feed ingredients during the war), but in 2023 the group also started exporting grain crops, thereby increasing sales compared to 2022," the report explains the dynamics of growth.
