KSG Agro started export deliveries of corn to Slovakia in the volume of up to 1,000 tons

Agroholding KSG Agro has started export deliveries of corn to Slovakia in the volume of up to 1,000 tons.

"In the conditions of the actual blocking of the agricultural products export by sea, the successful agricultural holdings focused on building their own effective logistics. We succeeded in this, so we continue to develop exports to the countries of the European Union. Following the deliveries of both grain and products with a high added value, such as oil, we are starting to export corn, comments the Chairman of the Board of Directors at KSG Agro Sergiy Kasianov. - There is every reason to talk about the further increase of export supplies to the EU countries, because, on the one hand, there is a high demand for our agricultural products, and on the other hand, the "green light" for Ukrainian agricultural exports has been turned on. Currently, there are virtually no taxes (the same as VAT) and import duties in the EU. So, having solved problems with logistics, farmers have the opportunity to establish an effective channel of export revenues."

As previously reported, KSG Agro started exporting rapeseed and sunflower oil to three EU countries: Poland, Slovakia and Italy. As part of the signed contract with KSG Agro for raw rapeseed supplies, 2,000 tons of this crop will be exported to Slovakia. In addition, pilot deliveries of sunflower oil to Poland and Italy using flexitanks - polymer containers designed for the transportation of liquid cargo and installed on ordinary trucks - have begun.
