KSG Agro starts sunflower sowing campaign on the area of 7.3 thou hectares
KSG Agro has started sowing sunflower on an area of 7.3 thou hectares. This was reported by the press service of the agricultural holding with reference to Dmytro Yemelchenko, Head of the crop division at KSG Agro.
The farms of KSG Agro have started sowing sunflower on a total area of 7.3 thou hectares. At the moment, 700 hectares have already been sown.
Sowing is carried out with the simultaneous application of mineral fertilizers and soil herbicides. Seeds from such producers as Syngenta, Limagrain and Euralis are applied to the soil. During the sowing campaign, three John Deere DB 55 sowing complexes were used.
"We are fully satisfied with the weather conditions during the sowing campaign," comments Dmytro Yemelchenko, "The moisture reserve in the soil is quite sufficient. The warm weather since the beginning of May is conducive to efficient sowing to get friendly high-quality sunflower crops."
